Almost every golfer who walks in here arrives with a distance question and leaves with a contact answer. Before we talk about loft, weight, or which head is trending this season, we find out where the ball is meeting the face and where the sole is meeting the ground. Those two facts decide what a spec change can and cannot do for you.

Three Marks, Read in Order
This shop runs on a short checklist that never changes. It is the same for a scratch player and for somebody who picked the game up in March, and it is the reason two customers with identical swing speeds can walk out with completely different builds.
Face Mark
Where the ball actually meets the face, gathered from spray on the hitting surface across a full set of swings rather than a single good one.
Ground Mark
Where the sole first touches down relative to the ball. This one decides whether loft and shaft changes will hold up on the course.
Path Mark
The direction and depth the sole leaves behind. It tells us how the head is arriving, which is what lie angle and sole grind have to answer to.
What We Will Not Do to You
Fitting has picked up a reputation for being a sales appointment wearing a lab coat. We would rather be direct about the ways this shop refuses to operate, because it explains a lot of what happens once you are standing on the mat.
- We will not sell you a build when your current set is already close. Some sessions end with a grip change and a lie-angle tweak, and that is a fine outcome.
- We will not hand you a single hero number from one swing. Everything we report is an average across a block of swings with the outliers still visible.
- We will not push a brand because a rep has us on a quota. There is no quota here.
- We will not tell you the club fixed something the club did not fix. If a miss is coming from the swing, we say so and point you toward a teaching pro.

Pick the Club That Is Costing You Shots
Most people book a single club to start. That is usually the right call — one club, ninety minutes, and a decision you can act on. Full-bag work is better done in stages once you know how you respond to a change.

El Paso sits high and dry, and both of those change the equipment conversation. Thinner air lets the ball carry farther but also lets it climb more easily, which means a spin figure that looks healthy in a coastal fitting bay can balloon here on a warm afternoon. Meanwhile the ground under your feet spends most of the year firm, so the club has to survive contact with turf that gives up very little.
We keep our reference numbers built from local sessions rather than from published tour averages. When we tell you a carry figure, it is the figure we have measured here, in this valley, at this altitude.
